Finger in the Pie Workshops
Finger in the Pie are an award winning theatre company based in London. The basis of Finger in the Pie’s work can be traced back to the training of our company many of whom have studied the pedagogy of Jacque Lecoq. We are also influenced by the traditions of Grotowski, Brecht and the Commedia del Arte. The methods and exercises we explore in our workshops are exactly the same methods we use in the rehearsal room to create our own theatre. Focusing on the foundation of our theatre making we offer workshops which explore the principles of devising and Mask work.
Production workshops are based on our touring productions. These cross curricular workshops go hand in had with our productions – exploring the themes, methods and ideas at the heart of the show. To download any of the resource packs which accompany our schools workshops please visit our download centre.
As well as workshops for schools we also offer professional development workshops. These offer participants the chance to explore our methods and practices while working with company members. As well as our organised professional development workshops we’re happy to consider one to one mentoring for performers looking to work with or develop a specific project, character or method.
